1. What you are agreeing to

By creating an account you accept these terms. We record which version you accepted and when. If we change the text it gets a new version number and we ask you to agree again.

2. What BuurtFix is and is not

BuurtFix introduces neighbours to each other. The agreement about a task is between you and the other person — BuurtFix is not a party to it, not an employer and not a broker, carries out no tasks itself, and does not vet who signs up.

3. Your account

You are at least 18. You give a name your neighbours will recognise you by, and you keep your login details to yourself. One person, one account.

4. What you post

Post only tasks you genuinely want done, with a description and photo that are accurate. Not allowed: illegal work, work requiring a licence or certification you do not hold, misleading prices, and anything that infringes someone else's rights.

5. How you treat each other

Someone is coming to your home, or you are going to theirs. Behave accordingly. Harassment, discrimination, threats and unsolicited commercial messages are prohibited. You can block or report someone from within the app; reports are reviewed and can lead to an account being removed.

6. Payment

You agree the price between you and settle it between you. BuurtFix processes no payments and does not guarantee payment, quality or damages.

7. Liability

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time via Delete your account. We may end an account that breaches these terms.

9. Governing law

Dutch law applies.
